Violinist Chad Hoopes will participate in the performances of the complete Brandenburg Concertos of the 2019 Aspen Music Festival this July. He, along with an elite list of other players, will perform all six of the Concertos paired with other works from the Baroque repertory. The concerts will be led by Jory Vinikour who will conduct from the harpsichord. Hoopes, who will perform on July 10 and July 11, will play the solo violin for Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, in addition to the the Vivaldi Concerto for Four Violins, and the Bach Concerto for Three Violins.
