Pablo Mielgo stays chief conductor of the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears
The advisory board of Fundació Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears voted for the renewal of Pablo Mielgo’s contract with the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears (OSIB) for two further years.
Pablo Mielgo is the orchestra’s musical director since 2014. His intention for the future is to carry on his previous tradition consistently, which he summarizes in three words: quality, education and society. Three attributes that are to be used as synonyms for major goals of the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears.
