Host des Abends ist Patricia Ward Kelly, die Geschichten und Anekdoten aus ihrer Zeit mit Gene Kelly &#8211; zuerst als Biografin, dann als seine Ehefrau &#8211; preisgibt. Es werden Filmausschnitte gezeigt, unter anderem einige der ikonischen oder auch seltenen Sequenzen. Nachdem die originalen Orchesternoten in einem Feuer zerst\u00f6rt wurden, lie\u00df Ward Kelly sie mithilfe des Dirigenten John Wilson restaurieren bzw. erneut erstellen.
