ALONDRA DE LA PARRA Orchestral Conductor and Producer

After spending many years in silence and loneliness, one she-Clown wakes up from an eternal dream by the transcendental call of music. She is guided by an oboe-bird, fascinated by the woodwind’s sound.
Her reverie starts to be overshadowed when she finds that she is trapped in a large cage from which birds can escape, leaving her alone again. From this awakening on, the Clown embarks in a journey and meets several characters in the various universes she travels through accompanied by music.
Her actions take her to an unbridled abuse of power and control, turning her dream into a nightmare.
Suffocating the musicians and characters on her way, she drives her music to a burst, with a strong rejection to her passage through that universe, and discovers her true awakening.

“The Silence of Sound” is the story of a she-Clown whose life is transformed when she discovers the beauty of music. However, she soon finds out that this wonderful new world has inherent dangers. Facing and overcoming these will take her to the brink of madness.
