The global artist management agency Dorn Music founded by leading artist manager Tanja Dorn offers international, holistic and bespoke artist management. Dorn Music aims to unite the interests of artists, presenters, labels, PR-agencies and audiences in order to ensure highly qualitative, unique and exceptional musical experiences.

Founded in January 2016 and based in Hannover, Germany, Dorn Music consists of an initial team of five, including two full-time, multi-lingual artist managers working alongside Dorn. The agency is furthermore cooperating with specialists in the fields of travel, logistics, marketing, finance, law and IT. Dorn Music offers complete management support at the highest level, with a dedicated individual approach to developing a healthy, long-term career for each performing artist.

Last year also saw the launch of the Young Artists Foundation, a non-profit organisation, conceived and spearheaded by Dorn.

Tanja Dorn founded Dorn Music in January 2016 after spending eight years at IMG Artists, first as Vice President in New York and later as Associate Director North & South America and Germany of the Conductors and Instrumentalists department and finally as Director and Senior Vice President of IMG Artists Germany.

Tanja Dorn joined IMG Artists in 2007 as Vice President after starting her own agency, Tanja Dorn Artist Management in New York, and running the office of Sir André Previn in New York.  Previously, she was an associate manager at CAMI, where she worked with an extensive roster of top performing artists. In addition, she served as Artistic Director of Klavierhaus, where she produced over 50 recitals showcasing young artists. Tanja Dorn has also been Artistic Advisor to New York’s Splendor of Florence Festival, and produced the Sounds of Modern Italy concert at Pace University.

A native of Germany, Tanja Dorn studied the piano with Annerose Schmidt at the Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ in Berlin, where she received her master’s degree in piano performance, chamber music, and piano pedagogy. As a student, she was elected head of the student parliament and nominated as the first student board member of the Academy’s Friends and Supporters Foundation. In this capacity, she founded Europe’s first student concert agency, ‘Eisleriana’, and initiated a biannual fundraising concert series in collaboration with Germany’s Minister of Economics. She also organized the Berlin Wall Concert, a music project between students of ‘’ The Juilliard School’’ and Hochschule für Musik ‘’Hanns Eisler’ in Berlin to commemorate 15 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

As a performing pianist, she has served as an ambassador to her hometown, Mainz, and has performed throughout Europe, including her orchestral debut at the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie.
