Orpheus Chamber Orchestra concludes Orpheus Summer Thursday Series

Orpheus Chamber Orchestra concluded their Orpheus Summer Thursday series, a weekly broadcast series of a previously recorded concerts from venues around the world. Most of these broadcasts were the social media premieres of concerts from past seasons which have not been broadcast publicly before.

Performances included those from Hong Kong University with pianist Nobuyuki Tsujji, Brooklyn’s Skillman Studios with Orpheus’ own violinist Todd Phillips and pianist Rachel Yunkyung Choo, Cartagena Festival of Music performance with harpist Emmanuel Ceysson and cellist Emmanuel Cañón Valencia, the Naumburg Bandshell in New York City with bandoneon player JP Jofre, and at the 92nd Street Y with harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani.

All concerts were broadcast for free on the orchestra’s social media channels.
