Founded in 1972, Orpheus performs without a conductor, combining the intimacy of a chamber ensemble with the richness of a full orchestra.Annually, Orpheus serves over 30,000 people around the world, having presented over 300 tours to 50 countries on four continents. To date, the orchestra has created a recording catalogue of more than 70 albums and has expanded the chamber orchestra repertoire by 43 new works.
