On Sunday, January 12, 2020, organist Christian Schmitt will debut at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles in a recital presented by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The program will include repertoire by Bach, Schumann, Reger, Pärt, Langlais, and Toshio Hosokawa. The Los Angeles Philharmonic’s organ, designed by Frank Gehry and LA based organ builder Manuel J. Rosales and is considered a crown jewel of new organs built in the United States.
