Organist Christian Schmitt will debut with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Christoph Eschenbach on October 19 and 20, 2022. He will perform Cesar Frank’s Chorale in A minor” and Francis Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ Strings and Timpani as part of the orchestra’s celebration of the first year anniversary of the installation of their new organ at Göteborgs Konserthus hall.
Christoph Eschenbach will also lead the orchestra in Bruckner’s Symphony No. 1.
