This week, Alondra de la Parra is guest of the Queensland Ballet and will be conducting the Queensland Symphony Orchestra on the premiere on 28 August as well as on the three upcoming days.
The program will be Sergei Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet in a choreography by Sir Kenneth MacMillan, which celebrated Australian premiere in 2014.
