Violist Matthew Lipman will perform as part of Michael Tilson Thomas’ Viola Visions Festival at the New World Symphony in Miami. He will partner with violist Tabea Zimmermann to perform George Benjamin’s work Viola, Viola. Other works on the program include Chemins II by Luciano Berio; and a work by Betty Olivero and performed by Kim Kashkashian. The three-day event and focus on the viola will be broadcast on Violin Channel, Medici.tv, and on New World Symphony’s Facebook page.
