Conductor Yue Bao will conduct the inaugural Lunar New Year concert of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on Friday January 13, 2023 with soloists, soprano Hera Hyesang Park and violinist Stella Chen. The concert features pre-and-post concert events which are open to the public, including an pre concert event in the lobby of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall introducing families to traditional instruments, culture, dress which surround the Lunar New Year. The concert also features Baltimore Symphony Orchestra cellist Bo Li who acted as artistic advisor to the concert.
